SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s shoppers may want to check their cupboards after peanut and almond butter sold at the stores were recalled over possible salmonella contamination.
nSpired Natural Foods, Inc. recalled certain almond and peanut butters packaged in glass and plastic jars after routine FDA testing revealed the possible contamination.
The products were sold under private labels in the two stores. Four reports of illness were possibly linked to the products.
