Grass Fire Sends Plumes Of Smoke Across I-880 In Hayward
HAYWARD (CBS SF) -- Smoke from a grass and vegetation fire was billowing across southbound Interstate 880 in Hayward.
Traffic was seen gridlocked and the Whipple Ave. exit blocked by fire crews and the California Highway Patrol.
No word yet on the cause of the fire.
