Belmont Police Investigate Friday-Morning Death Of Los Altos Teen
BELMONT (CBS SF) -- Belmont police are investigating the death of a Los Altos teen found in an apartment Friday morning.
Police and fire units responded to an apartment in the 2200 block of Lake Road at 8:20 a.m., police said.
The found a 17-year-old male unresponsive in the apartment and attempted life-saving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said they found indications of drug use in the apartment and began an indication into the circumstances of the death.
The cause of death will be determined by the San Mateo County Coroner's Office.
