NorCal Society Of Journalists Awards KCBS Radio With Excellence In Journalism Award For Asiana Crash Coverage
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- The Society of Professional Journalists of Northern California has just named the KCBS News Team the winner of its Excellence in Journalism - Breaking News Award for coverage of the Asiana airplane crash on Saturday, July 6, 2013.
The SPJ said the coverage was "an amazing record of what happened during the Asiana crash with riveting first-hand accounts."
The SPJ is a broad-based journalism organization that encourages free practice of journalism, and ethical behavior.
