OAKLAND (KCBS) – The Broncos meet the winless Raiders in Oakland Sunday, a week after Denver was trounced by the Patriots.

“It didn’t even look like the Broncos,” John Madden told the KCBS Radio morning crew. “Peyton Manning didn’t even look like Peyton Manning. And that would have been the perfect time for the Raiders to catch them. But I don’t think that (the Broncos) have two of those in them. I think they’re going to be really upset about what happened to them last week, and they’re going to get all that stuff corrected. And I think they’re going to come in and explode.”

Can the Raiders learn anything from the Patriots?

“You can try and get to (Manning) and make him throw before he’s ready, because I thought that was the big thing that the Patriots did,” Madden said.

“You have to push that middle, crash that middle, get inside, get right on him and make him throw a little early… I don’t know if the Raiders can do that. I don’t know if they have the players to do that. And I don’t know if you can do that twice in a row to the Broncos.” (7:10)
