SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – Thanksgiving is the time of the year when we appreciate our loved ones by gathering together the family and the putting together an incredible Thanksgiving meal.

Our friends at KPIX 5 have shared their best recipes for the holiday season. Featured is KPIX 5 Anchor, Anne Makovec’s guilt-free Pumpkin Cheesecake!

2 Bars (16 oz) light cream cheese (Neufchatel cheese)
½ cup sugar or equal amount of sugar substitute
½ cup canned pumpkin
Dash of vanilla
Several sprinkles of cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg to taste
2 eggs (or equal amount of egg whites)
Graham cracker crust
1 cup light or fat-free whipped topping

Beat everything but the whipped topping until blended
Pour into crust
Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees
Cool and Refrigerate until set
Top with whipped topping
