Silicon Valley Humane Society Launches Social Media Campaign For Adoptable Dog With Skin Condition
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A dog with a skin condition known as demodetic mange is getting her own social media campaign, thanks to the Humane Society Silicon Valley.
Six-month-old "Sweet Potato" is a pibble mix which, according to a spokeswoman for the humane society, "loves toys, other dogs, sitting on laps and listening to music."
Social media accounts at Twitter and Instagram have been set up to follow the dog's recovery as the HSSV prepares Sweet Potato for adoption. Interested animal lovers are encouraged to follow Sweet Potato on Twitter with the hashtag: #dailysweetpotato.
