SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) _ The pink-fur mustache associated with Lyft is going by the wayside.

In a re-branding move, the company that allows customers to use a smart phone app to book and pay for rides in a private car, is pulling the nearly iconic pink symbol that drivers display on the front of their cars and will be rolling out their new “glowstache” for the cars.

At the San Francisco headquarters on Monday night, the company, which operates all over the country, will have 300 Lyft drivers replace the old pink mustache with the new “glowstache.”

According to Business Insider, the banana-sized plastic glowstache will attach to the driver’s dashboard with magnets and will light up at night.

Lyft’s co-founder, John Zimmer, will also share statistics about how Lyft has benefited the San Francisco economy and give insight on what’s in store for the upcoming year.
