WWE Inducts Former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger Into Hall of Fame

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) - As part of WrestleMania Week at the SAP Center in San Jose on March 28th, the WWE has announced former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will be inducted into the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame.

The seven-time Mr. Olympia winner and "Terminator," has been a long-time fan of wrestling going back to the 1970's. In 2013, Schwarzenegger inducted good friend Bruno Sammartino into the WWE Hall of Fame during a ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City. He also appeared on an episode of Monday Night Raw opposite wrestling legend Hulk Hogan and WWE Superstar The Miz.

Schwarzenegger's long-time dedication to health and fitness makes him a perfecrt match with the WWE organziation. "We are honored to induct Arnold Schwarzenegger into the WWE Hall of Fame," said WWE Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative, Paul "Triple H" Levesque. "His larger-than-life on- and off-screen presence translated perfectly into the world of WWE, resulting in many memorable moments."

Tickets for the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at SAP Center are available through Ticketmaster.com.

Wrestlemania 31 will be on Sunday, March 29th at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara.
