A photo of him taking grounders on his first day of Red Sox spring training set off thousands of tweets overnight. And some of them weren't all that nice:

Pablo Sandoval's weight was an issue in San Francisco, that's why the team reportedly never offered him a long-term deal before the 2014 season. But now, after signing a $95 million contract, some are sure to feel like it's open season to poke fun at "The Panda."
