SCOTTSDALE, Arizona (CBS SF) — San Francisco Giants Manager Bruce Bochy was admitted to a hospital in Arizona for a heart operation after experiencing chest discomfort Thursday.
The Giants released a statement saying “Bruce was admitted to Scottsdale Healthcare Medical Center where doctors performed a medical procedure to insert two stents.”
The team said Bochy was resting comfortably, and would be released Friday.
