Facebook Launching Nostalgia Feature 'On This Day'
MENLO PARK (CBS SF) – Facebook is making it easier for its 1.4 billion users to look back and reminisce on the social network, with a new feature that will bring posts from years ago back to the surface.
The feature, called "On This Day" will show users past status updates, posts from friends and items a user has been tagged in from one year ago, two years ago, and so on.
In a written statement, Facebook says users will only be able to see their own On This Day page. Users can edit and delete old posts and have the option to share past content.
The social network is currently in the process of rolling out the feature. On This Day will be available through https://www.facebook.com/onthisday.
