ANTIOCH (CBS SF) — A 16-year-old girl, who was stabbed multiple times Saturday afternoon following a fight in Antioch, is expected to survive, police said.

Witnesses told police that a car occupied by some males and at least one female stopped in the road and that the people inside the car got into a physical fight with a group of pedestrians, according to police.

Medical personnel transported her to a hospital and police said her wounds are not considered life-threatening.
The suspects reportedly returned to their car, described as a light-colored four-door Honda Civic, and left the area.
