Low Clouds, Drizzle Delays Flights At San Francisco International Airport

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A strong onshore flow with low ceilings and heavy drizzle were causing delays for travelers at San Francisco International Airport Memorial Day morning.

A traffic management program is in effect for traffic arriving at SFO causing some arriving flights to be delayed an average of 1 hour and 2 minutes.

According to FlightStats.com, about 22 flights had been delayed, and one was cancelled.

Officials at Oakland  and Mineta San Jose International Airports report no weather related delays.

Travelers are advised to call their airlines for latest flight information. Check the status of flights online at www.flightstats.com.
