SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — The San Francisco housing market hardly flinched when a home formerly belonging to a 90-year-old whose mummified body was found inside went on the market.DA's Office: Man Shot Dead By Daly City Police Was Wielding Fake Gun
Police found the body of the previous owner – who had been dead for five years – wrapped in a blanket last April. Since then, crews in masks cleared the home of the floor-to-ceiling trash which had been accumulated by her 65-year-old daughter for about a decade.

The two-bath, two-bedroom home is listed by Zephyr Real Estate as having, “Lots of Vintage Charm/Details and a real News Worthy [sic] History,” in addition to “a good location in the very desirable LAKE District neighborhood.”
However, there’s no mention of the home’s nightmarish history. Under California law, if someone dies on the property, it must be disclosed to buyers, but only if the death occurred in the last three years.
