Burning Man Begins With Dust, Long Lines At The Gate

BLACK ROCK CITY, Nevada (CBS SF) -- The Burning Man art festival officially began Sunday with long lines to get in, and lots of dust.

The week long festival celebrating counterculture and art has been held in a makeshift town named Blackrock City every year since 1986.

Here are some of the best tweets from the first weekend.

A temporary airport was built for the festival.

Steven Leckart compared the festival from overhead to a refugee camp.

There was no mention of the bugs that swarmed the playa earlier this month.
