Aptos Woman Arrested For Alleged DUI 3 Times In A Week

APTOS (CBS SF) -- A 61-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI three times in a week in Santa Cruz County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Martha Elizabeth Lewis was first arrested on Oct. 18, when she was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence on northbound state Highway 1 south of River Street, CHP officials said.

Then on Saturday, she was arrested at her Aptos home in the area of Lamanda and Cliff drives, where she crashed a car into her own garage, resulting in property damage, according to the CHP.

The next day, she allegedly drove while intoxicated on Treasure Island Drive and Winfield Way in Aptos, where she was arrested, CHP officials said.
