(CBS SF) — A urban legend following news about Facebook CEO’s Mark Zuckerberg’s pledge to give away most of his fortune has plenty of people copying and pasting in the hope of landing a chunk of that fortune.

Soon after, a message began circulating on Facebook saying users could win $4.5 million by sharing and liking a “thank you” message to Zuckerberg:

The post claims that Facebook would select from those who post the message on their timeline and tag their friends for the givewaway, “as a way of saying thank you for making Facebook such a powerful vehicle for connection and philanthropy.
