Overturned Car Blocks Lanes Of I-80 In Fairfield
FAIRFIELD (CBS SF) -- A traffic alert has been issued Sunday evening for eastbound Interstate Highway 80 in Fairfield, California Highway Patrol officials said.
The traffic alert was issued at 5:50 p.m. on I-80 at Green Valley Road after a vehicle overturned onto its roof.
Three lanes are blocked and at least one person went to a hospital with injuries that could not immediately be confirmed with the CHP.
The CHP has not given an estimate of when the lanes will reopen, Officer William Ogilvie said.
The first report of the crash came in at 5:24 p.m., Ogilvie said.
