SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – A woman was robbed of her phone Friday evening in San Francisco’s Chinatown neighborhood as she was playing the popular Pokémon Go video game on it, according to police.

The 27-year-old victim was playing Pokémon Go as she walked along Grant Avenue. A man then approached and snatched her cellphone from her hands, according to police.

The victim was injured but she refused medical attention, according to police.
Earlier this month, San Francisco police provided safety tips to Pokémon Go players, advising them to be aware of their surroundings.
