BERKELEY (CBS SF) — A male victim was robbed late Friday night in Berkeley by two male suspects with a gun, police said Sunday.

The victim was approached by the robbers at about 11:20 p.m. near Warring and Parker streets near the Clark Kerr Campus of the University of California at Berkeley.

One of the robbers showed the victim he had a gun and the two demanded property from the victim, according to police.

The victim gave the suspects what they wanted. The robbers ran and got into a car that was last seen traveling south on Warring Street.

Berkeley police officers searched the area but did not find the suspects. The victim was not injured in the robbery, police said.

  1. Fools and their money are soon parted. I’m sure there’s a sanctuary for those robbers somewhere on the campus.
