SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — Two people were injured in a shooting in San Francisco’s Fillmore District Friday night, police said.

Someone fired on a man and a woman who were driving in the area of Fillmore Street and Golden Gate Avenue around 10 p.m., the two told police who responded to their call.

Police told KPIX that the male driver of the car was shot and that a female passenger was shot in the leg multiple times.

Two other vehicles were struck by gunfire.

The two victims were taken to a hospital for injuries not thought to be life-threatening, Officer Robert Rueca told Bay City News.

There is no suspect description at present, according to Rueca.
