The game of cornhole is growing increasingly popular on the West Coast, moving from where it originated in the South. There's even an American Cornhole Association. Visit this site to learn more tips and helpful tricks to the game. Mark our words, this game is growing in popularity by the day, and will probably start showing up in nearby neighborhood yards for fun and backyard play. Here are a few bars in the North Bay that offer cornhole play.

With a place that offers the best bourbon, bbq and parties around town – it's a sure thing that everything else within this place is quite spectacular – even right down to the cornhole games. The WT has three cornhole games out back, which offers an enormous patio, picnic tables and an area to play these games. On colder nights, the bar throws out heaters so players can keep having fun into the wee hours. "I'm contemplating starting a tournament this summer as well (two-person teams, winner takes all w/ a cash prize)," says the owner. Whiskey Tip is a family-owned neighborhood bar and is, of course, widely known for its whiskeys, namely, the Apple Moonshine. Along with cornhole games, patrons can play table shuffleboard and beer pong.

To play, you'll get bags to toss onto a two-by-four-foot raised platform, with a six-inch hole cut nine inches from the top. The goal is to get the bags into the hole. Whichever teams reaches 21 first, wins. Tours for this winery are by appointment only and are conducted daily at 11 a.m., except Saturdays and holidays.
