SANTA CLARA (CBS SF) – It’s out with the new – again – this week at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.

Last week the team ripped out the playing field portion of the turf after loose sod and fear of injuries prompted Head Coach Jim Harbaugh to cancel practice on the field. No major issues were reported during that game, but the team has since removed the entire lawn so that the permanent, uniform grass can take hold.
